Hi everyone :)
I have a DIY sump that I bought recently and I've gutted the old baffles (it was designed specifically for bio balls) so I can redesign it how I want it. When I was cutting the old baffles out, I noticed some of the silicon along the corner joins was starting to peel off.
It's still a good water tight seal, but should I be concerned? Also, can I just put new silicon over the old stuff, or do I need to cut the old stuff away first?
Thanks!

Silicone that bonds the glass together is inbetween the panes, the excess is just additional. You can peel that away and reseal that portion if you wanted to.
