I have a tank with a center brace. I hate that brace. If I remove all the trim on the top, can I make a metal trim to skirt the edge all the way around the tank? Or successfully add euro bracing?

Any pics of success would help me,
Thanks

There's a ton have people that have added euro bracing instead of center bracing. There's calculator ' s somewhere on the Internet for tank size with glass thickness that gives guidelines I just can't find it right now. Maybe post your tank dimensions and someone can chime in on what they have done.

I have welded up some stainless angle for
his exact situation. 1.25x1.25x3/16" will do just about all the medium sized glass tanks. Best of
luck, J

Its a 185. 60x27x27 The brace on there is really bad. It collects tons of algae for some reason and is very visable.
