So what you used was a p-I-d controller? Clever idea if so.

Just looked it up to verify. The one I have is the inkbird ITC-1000. It's not a pid controller. It looks like the ITC-100 series is a pid, but not this one.

Thanks. I'm going to look in to it. Pid's are hard to set up anyways.

Your welcome. When I was looking into it last night a lot of people were complaining about how difficult the instructions were to follow on the inkbird pid's

Overall I'm happy with it and it appears to be as good or a little better than the reefkeeper temp probe. My main thing is that I need to free up a plug on the reefkeeper.

Yea, a pid is hard to understand. The programming and using the contacts to control stuff.. Most of the time the I in pid is not used anyways.
