Hi Randy,

Sorry, following this calculations, if I have 50g of ZnCL, so I dissolve that in 1L to get 24mg/ml?

Then 1ml of that solution to 24ml will get me 1,000ug/ml?

So dosing 1ml of this new solution will boost 4ug/ml in my 250l system?

Just one clarification. The following sentence needs to clarify it is 24 ml total (1 ml + 23 mL RO/DI).

Then 1ml of that solution to 24ml will get me 1,000ug/ml?

So it'll raise 10ug/100l?

Had to check as I find it very strange that I have to pump in 19ml of this solution monthly just to buffer Zn to 1ug (Triton icp). So If I want to hit say 5ug, I have to pump in 95ml/mth! All when I'm still dosing AFR.

Had to stop AFR now cos my KH keeps climbing. Stopped for 4 days and my KH/Cal hasn't dropped yet. Lol

I've just tested my salinity with the Hannah digital meter, it's 30psu (their term)! Been doing Triton ICPs almost monthly and it always shows 35psu on the tests so I didn't check. My bad.

I've noticed near zero growth for maybe 2mths, KH/CA didn't drop after 6 days of turning off AFR dosing. So I thought maybe zinc still not enough that leads to almost no growth so KH/ca consumption is very very low?

Certainly seems like their should be some growth and detectable alk consumption.
