My slightly undersized skimmer on a tank with exceptable parameters, that hasn’t had a water change in over 3 years. This is 4 days. Dark brown, almost black, and chunky
Haven’t touched my output valve on idk how long. Nice and steady
That's why I run it wet too.I run a little on the “wet” side to counteract the salinity increase from 2 part dosing. set it so about an extra 1/5 of a gallon a week is pulled out besides the just skimmate if i ran dry. I do have to empty more often this way though.
You have no bubbles in the collection cup at all and you tell me I'm running wet.Can only see the top of bubble column for a day or so after the cup gets cleaned. Which is every week or so. After that the inside of the cup where the bubble column rises is covered with skimmate.
