I introduced 10 berghia nudibranchs about a month ago to tackle a massive aptasia issue in my tank. Unfortunately only 3 appears to have survived. They seem to be happily munching away every night but they will not be enough to tackle the immense aptasia outbreak I have. I'm wondering if i need to purchase more or if they will eventually multiply if i leave them be.

Assuming nothing eats them and with ample parameters, they will constantly lay eggs. The eggs, they can hatch in 10-14 days. It normally takes about 4 weeks before I see the imprint of nudibranchs added.. and by 6 weeks they’ve cleared most if not all of the aptasia and then I can never find them..
