Do dots act like this ??

Question. Do red darts (or starfish in general) act “dumb” like this ? Tubes are moving. No tissue damage. He’s eating. Have had him for about two weeks. He’s just now starting to really explore. But is this considered exploring ?? lol. Thanks

What are you feeding him?
For the most part I consider star fish low on the totem poll with regard to intelligence.

Exploring nope. 🤭 Foraging yes.
 
He looks hungry :( I hope you don’t want a reef tank tho cause these guys are destructive. I’d reccomend feeding food made for angelfish because it contains sponges
