Do generation 1 dosers work with Ion Director?

Hi, I'm not sure whether the old dosers (black ones, generation 1) may be used to dose Ca, Mag, etc. regulated by means of a Ion Director and a Profilux 3. Is that right or do I need a new 2.0 or 2.1 doser for that purpose?

For feeding the IOND, no.

For dosing after IOND determines an adjustment is needed to an existing dose schedule, yes.
