i never understood the attraction to harlequin shrimp until I saw isn't at my lfs today, but I want to know if they only eat starfish. While I have no problems with feeding chocolate chip stars, I don't want any of my dusters, scallops or my cucumber and sea slug coming under harm. Thanks

Cool, thanks. Now a follow up question, are they constant hiders like my pistol shrimp or will they be out often like peppermints?

My pair of harlequin are really cool. They have a little cave they hang out in and come out in the morning and evening. They are fun for me to have. So much I have foregone having the cool star fish in my tank to having them. I keep two chocolate chips in the same and feed them a leg ever few days.
