Do I need more rock for beneficial bacteria if I want to add more coral? If so, would I be ok to just add dry rock under this setup?

No you really don't need more rock. If you have a sump and can add more rock that's a good way to increase your biological filter, but also a detritus dump unless maintained.

It’s an AIO tank so no sump large enough for rock.

For coral? No.

For fish? IMO yes. Not just for filtration, but because this looks like a peninsula setup with literally no place for fish to hide.

Well for better or worse I did add some rock. Also picked up a new coral.

"If" you wanted to, you could bust up some nice porous rocks and make your own 'rubble rock' to add to an empty chamber in your AIO.
