I’ve had a green Goni for almost a years and I’ll say it’s gone three hell and back with issues in my tank.
Everything now is on point , on dosers so I don’t forget. Lol
I started using chemiclean elite and my goni has shriveled up almost to nothing.
Salinity 1.026
Alk 8dkh
Calcium 420
Magnesium 1360
NO3 10

LPS in general, no at least not in my experience. I've not owned a gonipora though so cannot advise on some reaction with that coral, though I'd be surprised.

I have a Goni and run gfo without any issues. The Goni appears to be growing quickly too. I did run gfo before adding the Goni, I don’t know if that makes a difference.

GFO can irritate LPS corals, if used aggressively and strips nutrients to fast will cause negative effects. I use GFO but without a reactor.

Maybe it’s just annoyed because of the water getting to clean too fast. I’ll try feeding it tonight

Try feeding it directly a few times a week. I use a mix of oyster feast and reef roids with the pumps off. Hope it pulls through.
