Do Nassarius snails typically clean the glass? I am see a large one cruising on the glass.

They are carnivorous. If you see them traversing the glass, they are likely hungry. You could lightly bury a couple mysis or pelets in the sand, that will give them a chance to get it before the fish do.

Nassarius on the glass can only mean one or two things.
Either the snail is hungry and looking for food, or, he is coming out of the closet.

I would try feeding it something.

They do get excited when they smell food and climb up on the glass trying to find it after fish get fed. Pretty normal behavior.
