I just purchased a used red sea reefer and leak testing it in the garage. I noticed what looks like air in the seams of the front panel. It's only on the front side edges. Looks like at someone got overzealous with the razor blade while cleaning and got underneath the silicone that's on the front panel. Is this anything to be concerned about? Otherwise the tank looks fine.

From what I have seen on the internet, Red Sea are prone to leaking... Do the bubbles move when you push on the glass? Try it but lightly to not make it worse.

From my experience of buying used tanks, I would use it and look at it weekly. Take some photos to compare any change.

Don't put any pressure on the glass while working in the tank.

I would use it.

Have an emergency plan for a failed seam.

Buckets, towels, heaters..

Any silicone beyond where the edges of glass meet is cosmetic, not structural.

Support the front glass panel, my RS used is great but the front seals are going, you can see the algae creeping into the bubble areas.
