Hi Everyone,
I upgraded my old tank to a tideline 62 AIO last summer. Had the LFS install it and it's been up over a year now.
I noticed these white/grey lines on both of the side silicone seams. They're more so toward the back of the sides and into the middle of the sides. If you zoom in on the pictures you can see them much better.
Some of them almost like like thin razor blade lines and they vary in size and shape but all are the same color. They don't look like bubbles to me. I have seen them before when doing tank maintenance and I believe to the best of my memory some were present after the install, but I forgot to take pictures and keep track of any potential changes. I've never used any razors or cleaning devices anywhere near these silicone seams.
Do you think this is something to be concerned about? I haven't been able to locate another source online where the silicone look quite like this. Most of the other failing seams I've seen pictures of had more of a bubbling appearance to them.
We're in the process of selling our house, so if this is anyone concern at all, I want to promptly take down the tank. My plan was to have a local tank builder move this for me to our new place after we move, but if it's a liability right now I want to address it ASAP.
Thank you for reading and any feedback you may be able to provide.
