Do you ever regret getting into this hobby?

I know sometimes it can feel disheartening to be in a hobby like this when you lose something you really liked and cared for, or having a whole tank crash happen. Through all this do you ever regret getting into the hobby?

the only thing ive ever regretted is starting cheap with equipment only to later find out it ended up costing me more in the long run since they dont last as long or are not as reliable.

this hobby can stress me out and test me sometimes like almost losing and og bounce and other expensive things but has never quite driven me to the point of quitting all together

Not at all. It takes thick skin sometimes. We grew up in a farming area tho we didn't farm. My sister and I had all kinds of critters we would catch and raise when we were kids and also had normal pets so we learned about life and death at an early age.
I've been fortunate not to have a total tank crash. If that happens in my big tank it might drive me out but more because of my age and I've already been trying to reduce the number of tanks.
