If yes….what type? Sediment only? In line with the fill pump or a continuous run canister circulating in the tank?

I use Pro Reef salt and I’m noticing that the water is not clean like the RO water.

Both tanks have lids. The bottom one is the saltwater

No. I don't. No filtration what so ever.

I mix my salt mix (Tropic Marin Pro Reef) with RODI (4 stage) once per month and that keeps me going just fine. I notice no visible difference when I do my water changes.

My ORP goes down about 50-60 when I am changing 10% water though.

I'm noticing particles and film at the top when I turn off the mixing pump. I use RODI water which first fills in the tank above. Then I Just fill the saltwater tank directly with the water from above. I can see the RODI tank is clear.

I've seen somebody on here running it through a sediment filter but that was an exception rather than norm.
