So i was talking with a family member last night about his freshwater tank and about how he pulled some snails from his lake. I had warned him of parasites and diseases and mentioned a QT Tank. He asked about things from the ocean and whether i could put them in my tank and again i said it's best to QT everything. He then asked me if i use one and i was like well....no. Then asked me if me friend uses one and i was like well...no LOL So then he proceeded to ask me how many people actually use one. We all know the benefits to having one but i am curious how many people here actually use one. Please vote!!

Thanks.

I have started using them after getting an outbreak of ich.

I wanted to QT the fish that brought it in, but I was not notified when it shipped. This left me ill-prepared.

I have one ready to go on my new set up. I went for 6 years without one when I had a FOWLR. I had a 55 that wasn't very heavily stocked, I only remember one ich outbreak and that was when I tried to add a PBT, which is just an ich magnet. But still, since I am going reef I would rather be safe than sorry.
