Never really cared in the pats but my wife and I decided to have fun with it this go around and have decided to name our fish as we get them. Question is, how do you name a clownfish knowing it might change sex haha. Most unisex name is found i didnt care for. Probably thinking way to much into it but id like to see suggestions on clownfish names.
We have a super small Black Ice.

I never did but my GF has insisted. So they have names now. The bigger clown is the female most likely so just go off that. Once it's female it cannot go back to male.

Some of them have names. Benny the Blenny. Servo the Clown Goby. The others don't have names.

I don't but my wife's friend who's over all the time insists on instigating that discussion pretty often so latest iteration seems to be:

Lemmy (like Motorhead singer) for tailspot blenny.
Stoner (red eyes) for pajama cardinal.
Jacques for skunk cleaner shrimp.

*don't recall last versions for anything else and they change too often

Sure do!

Starry Blenny - Bilbo
Flame Angel - Dante
Yellow Watchman - Gobes
Flame Shrimp - Debbie (from their species name)
Pistol Shrimp - Komatsu (like the bulldozer)
Chalk Basslet - Baby Grouper
Sixline Wrasse - Speedy
Engineer Goby - Bob the Builder
Blue Devil Damsel - <censored>

My clownfish names in the past were Little Buddy for a Black Oceallaris and Lil' Fluffy for a standard/orange Oceallaris.

I currently have a Maroon Clown that in figuring a name out for.

Yes, my Clowns are named BLEEPING ******s, because every time I reach in the tank, they attack me.

Fox Face: Spike
Pyramid Butteryfly: Bubba
Desjardini: Zeek
Blue Hippo: Sam
3 yellows go nameless
lawnmower blenny: Bridgette
6line wrasse: Walter
Tomini Tang: Tomini Tom
Lyretail Anthias: yet to be named
Dwarf Flame Angel: Big Red

:)

I have two clowns for 9 years and I call them Bonnie and Clyde. Also, a Blue Tang ( Speedy Hernandez)

I currently only have one so when i get the second one i wont know which one will technically be bigger

Our Midas Blenny is names Marcellus after the octopus movie (wife's pick). Really leaning towards Swim Shady for the clown haha
