Im wanting to get a tusk fish for my fish only tank. I saw this video and im not sure anymore I knew they would eat invertebrates but didn't realize they went after fish. Please only reply if you personally own one or have owned one.
Thanks in advance.

I have had one in my acro dominated tank for half a year with inverts and rather large tangs, I have not had any issues, but that could probably change at some point lol

Hi
Thanks for responding, how big which one ? I dont know if maybe the aussie more aggressive or ?

I know all fish are individuals I had a emperor angel im SPS LPS tank never touched anything was about 8 inches long raised from a baby. Model citizen except for liked to chase other fish at feeding time.

I have the indo version, he was very timid and shy at first and I had to feed him at night when the lights went out for the first couple months but since then he has been a model citizen. He is about 2.5" now, but like previously mentioned, he may turn more aggressive down the road. He is not housed with any small fish though.

I've had 2 of them (at different times)in reef tanks and they never went after any fish. In fact they were pretty shy. I never kept them with inverts, but would think they would go after them.
