Got this toadstool probably 8 yrs ago. It's been 10+ inches a few times but it's currently 4 or 5". It's taken some abuse (currently close neighbors with a 12" rbta)

From 30 years ago? Nope, none of them...
True.. Even though I have had many coral from when I started a tank 10+ years ago.. I have been doing this for 34 years... I don't have any coral from back then.. I do remember the first coral I ever got. It was a gift form my mom. :)

It was a pinkish soft coral. It was pretty ugly.. but I loved it.

Yes I do. While I've been in the hobby for awhile I'm new to corals and have had this goni for 2-3 years give or take. Time flies lol

This is how I got it. And this is what it turned into. Its so large now my9 inch sailfin can hide in it while my clown is hosting in it... the clown hosting it is slightly bugging it, and when it's not there it's even bigger.

Just set the tank up in feb. So far only lost 3 corals total! One from a delayed shipment, a hammer from bjd, and a goni because it’s a goni and I was stupid.

Impressive and super nice for a 6 month old tank. Should be considered to be spot lighted here in all honesty. Very well done.

Thanks so much! Traded for nearly everything I have. Since I’m a teenager I got this tank for my birthday along with like 3 starter corals. I fragged and traded up to what I have now. Haggling with LFS, dealing online, going to frag swaps, it’s been amazing. All my money from dragging goes right back into this tank, like an investment thing. I frag, I buy new corals, I frag those to fund more corals, so on so forth. It’s been an amazing experience

Yep, I still have my orange zoa as my first coral. I have been in the hobby for more than a year and I actually never lost a coral (even a Goni lol).

Goni from less than a year ago

Og's in my 7+ year old tank came in as liverock hitchhikers - an ugly RFA with a face only a mother could love and also a gorgonian that's going strong and gets trimmed regularly. They've survived it all!
