Welcome to R2R!!! Different types of snails isn't really an issue, its the amount of snails. I always recommend 1 type of snail per 10 gals. I usually keep 3, but will have a 4th in my upgrade tank.

Welcome to Reef2Reef!!! IMO too many snails would happen when they expire from not having enough to eat.

I was just wondering if you think you can have to many snails . I have about 7 different types of snails in my 175 community tank
You can have too many and they will die off if that’s the case. I think variety is important and they will reproduce with maturity of the tank and produce more or decrease depending on the tanks needs.

Nah, go check out what reefcleaners recommends for a tank your size.

Depends on if you're adding them, or they're reproducing. If you're adding them and the system can't keep them fed, then yeah. You have to many. If they're reproducing and thriving, I'd say the more the merrier.

Wow that’s a lot of snails do they keep reproducing on you
Ya but only in my sump the way I set it up theres alot of detritus that settles (bad setup on my part) so it can support a big population they don't breed at all in my display.
