Most of the Livesales vendors on here are great to work with. Most of them offer a DOA warranty and I've never had one not honor that warranty. I've had to use it three times now. Great looking tank! It's really coming along! Good luck on that giveaway. Imagine having (getting?) to fit $800 worth of WWC Corals in the tank!

Just an update on the frustrations of shipping: Had placed an order with WWC for Friday delivery. FedEx just notified me that there’s a delay and it won’t be delivered until Monday noon. I won’t be home until late evening that day so it will be evening before I open it. Even though I’m sure WWC will take care of it if they don’t survive, it’s obviously very frustrating. It was a torch and a candy cane. What are the odds they survive 4 days in transit? I guess we’ll see. I’ll just stare at my tank to calm myself down…

What an emotional roller coaster. FedEx came through. A bit late but at least not 3 days late. Corals are acclimating.

I had a torch get lost for 5 days (along with a bunch of other stuff) and it made it....sorta. I have a head on it that I maaaaay have blasted off with too much flow, so it's on the mend still. lol.

Having a cycling issue..so my tank is relatively new but it was cycled. I was keeping Nitrates under 20 ppm by doing 20% weekly water changes. I wanted to lower my nitrates down to 5ppm so I did a larger water change, tested the water and it was around 5ppm. Mission accomplished. After a couple of days, i re did the aquascape, quickly took the live rock out, and quickly put it back. I then used some gorilla glue and some reef safe epoxy to glue some corals down. I did do a small polyp booster/reef Roid feeding. After a couple of more days, I tested my Nitrate and it was zero which I thought was strange. I tested ammonia and it was 1.2 ppm. And Nitrite was zero. So I did a 50% water change, ammonia went down to 0.4 and then I added Dr Tim’s One and only. So now I’m back to cycling the tank: smaller feedings, and testing over the next couple of weeks to complete the cycle. Not sure what went wrong. Fish seem Ok so far. I’m monitoring Ammonia and may do smaller 5% water changes if ammonia spikes to 2ppm.

Just an update on my tank and how it’s looking. So far so good. I do have an orchid dottyback that looks sick (might have worms, long brown feces, thin, white patch in underside). It’s impossible to take him out unless I take everything out. I’m afraid just a matter of time he’ll just infect the whole tank. Not sure what to do. I’m just hoping for the best.

Try a bottle trap with frozen cubed food?

All is well with my tank for the most part. The dotty back recuperated and is doing well. Added a few more corals and one of my green Duncan coral I think it’s dead. There are other corals that “look” dead but I’ll leave them be. Not planning on adding any more corals (fingers crossed). I am seeing aiptasias popping here and there and I’ve been trying to control with Aiptasia X. I may get a filefish and see how it does.
