hidden cup coral? I had something similar on live rock I ordered from tampa bay saltwater. the coral eventually died.Pics
It came from my old tank. It’s Carib sea live rock.I don’t know what it is, but I do know it’s NOT AN EMERGENCY.
Some background information on where the live rock came from would help.
It’s not bad. If it grew there after added to tank, I would generalize and say it’s a good indication of ecosystem health. It came from my old tank. It’s Carib sea live rock.
They seems to be growing everywhere it looks like it has a foot of some sort. My old other set up never had those but as soon as I placed some of that rock in my new set up they seems to be all over the place. It’s not bad. A better close up picture may help to identify. However, if you don’t like it, then get rid of it. A toothbrush dipped in peroxide should eliminate it.They seems to be growing everywhere it looks like it has a foot of some sort. I’ll try to get one and see if I can take one out of the tank.A better close up picture may help to identify. However, if you don’t like it, then get rid of it. A toothbrush dipped in peroxide should eliminate it.
Yes, if you can remove rock from tank. However, I use toothbrush dipped in peroxide to spot treat in the water.I’ll try to get one and see if I can take one out of the tank.
