Does anyone use a Pro-Cal calcium reactor?

I have had mine since 2003 -- only mod was to put a PH probe in the first chamber. That way you are always working with a constant PH range vs having to adjust it if you tweak the bubble count or drip rate. I haven't melted any media due to drip rate slow down since.

I also don't use the flow meter any more.

I had been running it on a 600 gallon system with good amount of SPS stock. Would have to refill 70 % of first chamber every 2-3 months .
Question for you: how did you add a pH probe to the first chamber?

Hi Scott,
Buy yourself a threaded probe holder for mounting use
You have to drill and tap a hole for it in the cover in (make sure it does not interfere with the spray manifold and the float inside the unit)
