Hello Everyone,

I recently purchased 2 fish to put into my 13.5gallon evo QT tank. 5/21/2021

1 plain clownfish and 1 firefish, both fish have been eating well and from what I have seen they have been getting along.

5/29/2021

I check out the fish and the firefish which previously had beautiful fins now has tattered fins and is missing half of his rear fin and is showing reflective spots all over.

But I've noticed sometimes he has more spots say 30 and other times he has close to 3-5 spots.

So I guess my question is. Can Ich flare up and then subside daily or every 2 days?

You will have to zoom to see the spots. The close shows zero spots

Sounds like it's being picked on. That can cause ich to flair up.
I 100% can bet that the fin damage is from the clown. I'm not sure I have been feeding them enough, trying to do twice a day right now. but I was only feeding them 1ml of misis once a day previously

I am working on making a divider so that I can separate the fish in QT, or at least make it so that the clown is trapped on one side and the other fish can go between the two sides

Some have suggested setting your phone to make an hour long video of what happens between the fish when you are NOT in the room, and all it otherwise quiet.
