Does saltwater aquarium humidity damage mini split or dehumidifier? I have a finished basement with drop ceiling with a mini split heat pump to maintain temperature and plan on using dehumidifier as well to control moisture from a standard 75 gallon mixed reef. Just wondering if there would be any damage to mini split or dehumidifier. The finished portion of basement is about 700 sq feet. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

I am not an expert but the salt doesn’t evaporate, it remains in the tank. Which is why we need to top off with ro/di water.

Let’s wait for confirmation but in theory it should be okay.

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
