Got this Hammer yesterday, and I’m a little concerned with how it’s looking. Some of the polyps are very skinny at the base but inflated after that, it doesn’t have that same round bushy look the others do..but it does have a very nice flesh band and tons of baby heads growing off the base, still the size of a pen head. I fed it this morning along with the rest of my coral with Benereef (that’s the powdery mucus in the center of it) seems to be eating it but still concerned. I haven’t kept much euphyllia so I’m not so familiar with their reactions to certain variables, I did lower the flow down a bit in the tank so they are gently waving around, doesn’t seem like it would be too rough. Sorry to rant on but any input would be appreciated! Am I just overthinking it?

I’d give it a while to acclimate. How’s it looking today?

I mean it looks like it has better inflation on the polyps but the center is always sort of bare I suppose with the mouth exposed (not gaping) however I did notice there was a small hole or tear in its tissue near the center..
