I think it’s mostly in advertising. I tried it for a year and didn’t buy more. The yellow color puts off a very strong placebo effect!

It didn’t harm anything but I find the new Bacterioplankton additives to be more satisfying for polyp extension and are conveniently nutrient neutral. I wouldn’t add the Red Sea at nearly the dose they say too and keep in mind it raises phosphates. I found it was a pretty good algae fertilizer. My corals seemed to be a little puffier after addition but I’m not sold on it.
It probably should be adjusted based on how many and how large your corals are as well.Ok good to know I'm most likely going to 1 ml or 2ml not 4
