So i haven't been able to keep my tank stable with a kalk drip so I've decided to ditch it and go with two part. I tested my water yesterday to see where I was at then again today to see how much I need to dose everyday. Here are the numbers I came up with.

Yesterday Today
Alk: 7.5 6.4
Cal: 433.5 402.5
Mag: 1425 1410

Is it normal for the Alk to drop so much? It seems like a lot to me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Its a mixed reef, mostly lps and sps, and its also a 75gal. I was planning on dosing once a day manually, should I break it up some like 2 or 3 times a day? Thanks

For every 7ppm drop in Ca, alk will drop 1dkh, and hobby test kits are not that accurate. All tanks will not use Alk and Ca in the same balanced amount.
