Does your fish eat sand ?

Quick question, I feed my fish 2 to 3 times a day and one if my tangs still eats sand. Is that natural ?

He's more likely eating pods in the sand. My powder blue loves picking pods off my rock and out the sand bed.

Hmmm never thought of that , it my eye spot tang. He is the only one that does this. I did see a crap load of pods the other night though....

Lol good to know thought my fish had problems
