I went to take a video of a new coral and got some vertical lines going across the screen. I moved to another tank and they went away. So then I made this video showing the lines as the Hydra ramps up. They go away when it gets to around 70 percent. I really just wanted to know if anyone else has noticed this or knows what's causing it. If you have a Hydra52 give it a try and let me know if yours does the same thing.

Mine does the very same @ times. For some reason it is just a response between the camera & The LEDs. I have seen many LED light fixtures do this during video recording. It drove me nuts for the first little while. But it is commonly seen.

not an AI, but I've had two different led fixtures do this on both picture and video.. seems to be at certain percentages of power..

The first thought I had was its sort of like an old tv screen maybe new tvs as well. I think the lines are caused by the lights flashing very fast .
Anybody know if LEDs put out constant light or if they flash at a rapid speed. I'm sure it could be said more scientifically but I think the rapid flashing is to fast for us to see but is picked up by the video recorder.

I think that is how they "dim"..
