So my dog face puffer has lost both his upper teeth is this normal I've seen small chips before but nothing like this had him for 8 years he lost the first one t weeks ago now the second

Looks to me that the teeth grew long and then snapped off? In the first picture above, the tooth on the left side is way too long and the tooth on the right side is broken off and/or missing?
 
Correct I feed clams every day my other puffers never have an issue just this guy he is still eating. I wasn't sure if there is something I should be doing or will he be OK

Still eating is a good sign. I’ve used side cutters and Dremel tools to trim teeth on these, but I always used an anesthetic, not sure how it would work with a struggling fish.
