Dog face puffer

I have this dog face puffer who I was given with another puffer. They are both about 4". The question I have is.... do I get rid of the dog face or not... I would like to have corals and I keep seeing that it goes back and forth wether they will eat the coral or not.. photo of my set up

It will chow down on your corals, it will look at you as it takes chunks off!

If I separate will the coral live if it has already been bit

I would not add any corals with the dogface, I tried it years back just to see and he loved softies, zoas, etc..., lps and sps. I actually watched him and let him chow down on a colony of zoas, he was really happy, he would chomp off a wad, swallow it and dive back in, amazing how fast he ate it all. Give him a couple hours and there won't be anything left to save.
