Hello, any opinions on the Dog Face Puffer? What size tank is minimum? Are they territorial? Can they share a tank with a clownfish? Are they difficult to maintain? etc. etc.

Can be territorial and aggressive towards other puffers. They require rock to sharpen their clam-like teeth and a tank of at least 125 gallons as they grow to. 9+” in captivity

My tank is only a 36 gallon. I’ll just stick with the clownfish then.thanks much

Good choice.

There are smaller puffers that might fit. Valantini and blue spotted only get about 4". Careful if it's a reef, however.

Valentini are nice little puffers.

I love my Valentini. Lot of personality in a little body!
