Well I wish I would have been on the forum a while back when putting this tank together as it would have been really neat to document it in real time, but luckily I took plenty of pics so I am gonna share them in this “built thread”.
The tank was purchased from a LFS for $199, it is an Aquatop Recife 24 AIO. I got it home and set it up immediately. I purchased saltwater, sand and live rock from another LFS a day later. When I was selecting the live rock I noticed some macro algae on it and thought to myself how wonderful it would be having that on the rock and how natural it would look.
Here is a pic the second day I owned the tank.

These beautiful little green paly’s came on the live rock. When I was picking the rock out I did not notice them. Only until the next day did the open up and present themselves.

Nice. Congrats on the new tank. I have the 40 gallon version of this. Been running a year and a half so far so good.

I agree. These fish are awesome. They hang out on the corals and sometimes just holding on to the glass looking at me. They have a great personality too!

Absolutely mine liked to sit in my birds nest like it was a tree.

Here is a photo of mine as of yesterday. A lot has changed since I converted my 125 to salt. Several corals have been moved over to the bigger tank to help spread out everything. Was getting cramped in the 24 gallon.

Here is how it is today. With several corals moved over to my 125 and a new coral glued to the back wall. Tomorrow is water change day and I am upgrading to and icecap 1k and kasa power strip.

After seeing Daniel@R2R’s post about mounting frags to the overflow as seen here:

I might have gone a little crazy and glued three frags to my overflow. I hope I gave them enough room to spread out!

How does the 1K work in your tank? I'm looking at one for a 50 gallon peninsula
