im trying to set my apex up with a domain name and in not sure what company to use. i got a list from the unofficaly hand book but not sure what its the best. the one that was recommended isnt free anymore so i cant use that one. any one know what one would be the next best thing..

Most routers have support for dyndns.com built-in. And yes, they recently did away with their free accounts :( But, if you sign up for DynDNS Pro, you get a month's trial without charge. You can then cancel the paid subscription, and you are left with a free account for a single hostname.

Go with dyndns as Russ, said. Sign up for the free trial, then remember to unsubscribe. it worked best with my router and allows it to update the dynamic IP automatically.
