So i bought this jackolantern lepto for my bro a few month back. He used fluco to kill thr brypsis in his tank. In return he got a nasty cyano outbreak. I told him i was going to take the lepto to give it a chance to recover. It took a couple months but seems to have recovered nicely.

If you have questions on what i have gone through please feel free to ask. Dont give up

Reefstock was this weekend and actually made it this year. Had a good time. First time ever making to an event in the hobby. Kinda wish i wasnt so shy and star struck when sanjay was standing next to me. I got to shake hands with scott from mile high reefers from youtube. Ok guess i will stop there.....those two things made it worth going if i didnt buy anything. So onto some of the things i brought home.

So i have been having some issues lately. I have been testing high Po3-4 2 weeks ago it was 2.0 now its 1.0 the only thing i am doing to correct this is water changes. I did notice that the sticks in my tank stopped growing during this time. My frogspawn looked amazing with the high parameters. My discasoma mushrooms have been in a decline for months now not sure why. I think its because my nitrates plummeted from ~40 ppm to ~10 ppm. I also had high ammonia for the last couple months sitting around .50 nothing seemed to be affected by it. I also only did waterchanges to correct this. My alk and calcium are a constant battle. 2 weeks ago it was 13 and things seemed to tolerate it. Now i tested on tuesday and the alk was 6. Now this is where i believe i started seeing some dying in my tank. The hollywood stunner started to strip away. One of my sticks starting showing signs of STN. I also did a waterchange to correct this. I have since added kalkwasser to my top off water to try and keep up the stability. The high Po3-4 i believe to be in my tank do to heavy dry food feeding. My ammonia levels being so high i believe to be caused by small tiny inverts/worms dying off in my tank when i stopped feeding. I am not so good at dosing alk and cal to my tank which has caused issues. I am amazed that with all these parameters highs and lows that my tank is still supporting life.
