So I id a full test tonight. Normally just test alk every other day or so and Calcium maybe every 2weeks. I added a few corals and my Calcium dropped from 420 to 390 and alk 8.6 to 8.3 so not surprised by that. but my mag has tested 1560 on my red sea pro kit and normally it is at 1400. I havnt done a WC in about a month and I use IO reef crystals. I have heard red sea test high on Mag so maybe thats some of it. But my mag has always been 1400-1420 range in past test

Red sea kits are just not the most accurate, try again, see if it comes out same, or try a different kit, preferably salifert.

Still, even if it is correct, that is nowhere near problematic.
I have purposely brought my mag close to 2,000 in the past to deal w/ bryopsis, it was a fairly common process that some still do.

Also keep in mind salt mixes can vary from one batch to another.
