Don't see my Harlequin Shrimp

I have a 350 gallon display that literally has about 1000 asterinas. They started eating my zoas so I add a pair of Harlequin shrimp last week. Just wondering from other peoples experiences if they hid quite a bit? Since I added them I haven't seen them. I haven't seen a dent in the starfish population so I know they didn't starve or anything silly. I didn't know if most people see a pile of starfish where they hang out?

The same thing happened to me. I assumed my Harlequin died and have another on order.

How long have you had them? Do you have any fish that could have eaten them?
They are pretty reclusive shrimp and you won't see much of them in a 350 gallon tank

I've had them 10 days. None of the fish were interested with them when I put them in so I doubt it, but here's my stocklist at the moment. 3 clown fish, fuji devil damsel, yellow tail damsel, two watchmen gobies, pink spot goby, bluegreen chromis, banggai cardinal fish, yellow tang, purple tang, yellow eye tang, sailfin tang.

Just trying to decide whether or not to splurge on another pair yet

I wouldn't get a new pair yet. I would wait a little longer and just keep an eye out for them. They do hide a lot so just because you don't see them doesn't mean they are dead.

Ya'll were right. 2 weeks later and one came out. Haven't see. The second one but having at least one still is okay with me.
