DOS and automatic water change

I am thinking to do automatic water change with meltun dos
Questions?
From where should I remove and add the new water? Sump or from display tank ?
If sump where? Place where I have return pomp? Skimmer ?

I remove water from the first return chamber of my sump, where the overflow drains into. This way I am removing the ‘dirtiest’ water. I return water into the second last chamber because that is convenient. As long as you return after the chamber you remove water from you minimise the loss of NSW.
