HI folks,

Question regarding the Neptune DOS which I use for water changes. Bought a unit from BRS and it was dead out of the box, no worries though, Neptune swapped it out under warranty. I've had the unit for a couple of weeks now and seems to be getting noisier and noisier as the weeks go by. Last night, it woke me up and I have to say it sounds like it's eating itself alive but, it's still working as it should and it's removing/adding the same amount of water every night.

checking to see if others have observed/ heard this with their DOS units?

Had two of them, both were equally loud. The higher the speed they run the louder they are.

Not the quietest, I agree. Check to make sure the suction sides of the pumps aren’t clogged. That materially increases their noise levels.
