DOS QD Question(s)

I picked up a couple QDs. I’m using - for water changes, it’s so much better than the Versa’s.

I replaced one Versa that was doing Kalk and I used, want to, the other side to refill my ATO reservoir. In the past, I had to Versa set to continuous dose at 200 mil a minute. Then I have 3 optical sensors in my reservoir. The lowest would say “I’m low so if open then on”. Then there was one 2” from the top “if this is closed then off” and a fail safe, if closed then off.

2 problems - how should I set the QD up to do this? I’ve tried a couple ways and because the lowest sensor wasn’t open, it wouldn’t turn on, so I put a time statement there. I turned the unit on at 2pm and then off at 10pm. Still wouldn’t come on.

Second really weird issue. I tried to do 38,000 mill in 4 hours. The system laughed at me and said try again. 2pm to 10pm was the shortest it would let me schedule that. So I can save it. But when I come back to it, it is saying it will only put a little more than 5,000 mill in my ATO. I evap between 10-12 gallons a day. My ATO is around 32g.

I’d prob just set the time period over 24 hrs to fill the ato reservoir and have the optical sensors toggle it off when full.
