DOS with Trident Control

AS I venture into new grounds I would like some advice and help. DA never had dosing so this part is new to me and although I more than understand the chemistry, I would love to hear from those with experience on the dosing of CA and Alk with a DOS and Trident.

I am currently using Red Sea alk/Ca/MG (convienient) and have bulk BRS supplements I want to use up. I have read the DOS calibration and such, but am a bit unsure of the doing settings and how they are triggered. If there is a thread, or someone who does this and has some insight I would much appreciate it. My tank is very healthy and I want to keep it that way.
