Dosing for 32.5 Gallonn Fluval

Hey all,

We are a few weeks into a new 32.5 gal Fluval tank. We intend to make it a reef tank. How deep into dosing will we need to get? The pump and protein skimmer are on the backside of the tank. Would we be looking to need to add some type of external equipment for it?

That really depends on the consumption the tank uses. If you have corals that do well they will consume things. I’d assume that until you figure it all out water changes will be fine to enough to keep levels balanced

You have months until you need to think about dosing. Water changes will be sufficient for most smaller systems. Testing and consistency will dictate when supplements are necessary.
