dosing nitrates and kalk into ato?

I am trying to keep my nitrates above 0 without having to dose it every day. i understand dosing phosphates with kalkwasser isnt a good idea as it would precipitate in the resevoir but is there any reason besides possibly algae to not dose no3 with kalkwasser?

Yes, sodium nitrate is fine in kalkwasser. :)

What about phosphate?

No. Calcium phosphate will completely precipitate.
