@Lasse or somebody please help!

Given these settings - I would assume that even though the pump can do 6 liters/min - I have set it to do 1 liter/min

and via schedule that 1 dose will be done 3 times a day for 1 minute each time.

What in the world is this then? Can somebody tell me if I dumped 12.9 mL of mag in? or is it 1mL --- either way what is the 775 seconds??????

Is not L /min - its ml/minute

Normally I do like this

I set the speed I want (red mark)
I calibrate the pump and put the result in ml in the blue marking

I do nothing with the desired flow - when I fill in the calibration value - it will be automatically the same in desired flow. Desired flow is something they have introduced lately and I do not use it. In your case - I would have it to 6. I´ll think this is if you want a very slow flow - even if the pump can give 6 ml/min at lowest speed - you can ger it down to as low pump flow as 0.1 ml/minute

Your settings says 3 doses of 1 ml per day. The 1 stands for ml not minute

You have dosed 12,9 ml with a rate of 1 ml/minute 12,9*60 =774 seconds

the 775 seconds is the amount of time your dosing pump ran at 1 ml/min. I can not help on the other questions as I do not have any adjustments just manual dosing.

I just typed that wrong - YES ml/minute...

WHY did it dose 12.9 ml then????

The settings clearly tell it to dose 1ml 3 times in a 24 hour period. That is where i am confused.

@Lasse - that is the way I understood.. putting 1ml/min in the calibration would slow the pump down from 6ml/min to 1ml/min

Something is wrong here
@Vinny@GHLUSA can you shed any light?

If it ran for 775 seconds at 1ml/min = 12.9ml - where is that dosing direction coming from?

If it was to dose 1 ml at the calibrated speed of 6 ml/min it would be 10 seconds of running.
if it was to dose 1 ml at the "1 ml/min" desired speed it would run 1 minute.

So 10 seconds or 60 seconds... I would at least be able to wrap my head around what it is doing... but 12.9 does not makes sense, nor does 775.

I assumed you had something controlling it since it has the 11.9 ml adjustment.

Also - I watched the doser run on the next pump (got called away on phone)
It ran for maybe 10 seconds at what looked like (0) slow speed. I waited for 2 or 3 mins and it did not come back on. I walked away so do not know if it did.

The Doser cam on at 1:00 PM exactly
Why does the history show 12:48pm
and this dose
1675798267228.png

VERY confused here.
Why 12:48 PM in charts, why 11.4 mL and 687s?

The displayed dosed amount is dependent on the calibration value the user entered. If this is wrong, the calculation will be wrong. The calibration amount determines how long the motor needs to run in order to dispense the needed ml assuming the calibration number is as close as possible to the actual dispensed ml.

Manual dosages are also recorded on the chart.

Interestingly, your chart shows an "adjustment". This only happens if the user selected a parameter which shall determine if an adjustment is necessary. By default, this feature is disabled. Something must've been changed here (dosing pump settings) for an adjustment to take place.

And the third pump I programmed
1675798814694.png

And yes - I calibrated all 3 last evening before I setup the dosing schedule.

3rd pump (calcium)

was set to run at 2:00 PM for 1ml
1675800267669.png

As seen above no adjustments (that I can tell) are set anywhere.

So at it stands
Settings:

pump 5
Calibration = 6ml/min
Desired output 1ml/min
Schedule automatic starting at 12:00 PM
Dose 1ml 3 times per day
The history shows 1m + 11.9ml = 12.9ml, 775s
Starting at 11:47 am???? (13 mins early)

pump 6
Calibration = 5ml/min
Desired output 1ml/min
Schedule automatic starting at 1:00 PM
Dose 1ml 3 times per day
The history shows 1ml + 10.4ml =11.4ml, 687s
Starting at 12:48 PM???? (12 mins early)
I was standing at the pump and it appears to have stared at Exactly 1:00 PM for 10 or seconds at speed 0.

pump 7
Calibration = 5ml/min
Desired output 1ml/min
Schedule automatic starting at 2:00 PM
Dose 2ml 3 times per day
The history shows 2ml + 10.6ml = 12.6ml, 877s
Starting at 1:45 PM??? (15 mins early)

So where is the 10ml adjustment coming from?
Is the pump really dosing the programmed amount and the "adjustment" is a reporting problem.
Why is the dosing history timestamp 12-15 mins early?
Why are the run times for pump 5 and 6 not the same if their calibration at speed 0 IS the same?

I have disabled the dosing schedule until somebody can help me understand what is going wrong or where I made a mistake. I don't want to crash my tank.

Which FW do you run your dosers on? The P4:s FW?

Have you tested with using the same wanted flow as the calibration flow?

I´m doing tests with the same settings as you have (a virtual test) and its indicate that there is something fishy with the use of desired flow. I do not have it to work properly if I do not use the same desire as calibration value. I get it to work if I use 2 ml/min or 4ml/min as desired flow but not if I use 1 or 3 ml/min (have not tested 5 ml/min)

You can see here that somethings has happens - I have not be able to check the charts yet

I´m, running FW 1.43 for the dosers and 7.32 for the P4

Doser firmware is 1.36 and P4 7.33

I have not tried changing the desired flow rate. I will. I would really prefer as low a flow as possible, but have a feeling that the calculations are buggy.

Fill level do not match reality or dosing history report. They all started at 3990 - but pump 7 is the only one that decremented. It was the pump set at 2ml. Pumps 5,6 were set to 1mL.

I suspect that the pumps dosed 1, 1 and 2ml respectively but the history is very wrong and the container fill calculation is wrong too.

There is something wrong with the reporting and the desired flow. I did a test with a real pump and when I dose with cal 3.8 ml/min and desired flow 1 ml/min - it dosed after the calibration flow but no affect on the left over volume. When I had the same flowrate - it dosed still after the calibration flow but this time it also report to the container level @Vinny@GHLUSA : @Gaël

I´ll think you should update your dosers to FW 1.45 ext - its the latest FW for slaves. FW 1.45 is also the latest for SA dosers but they can´t be updated as slaves/EXT - they need to be updatet as SA units

There is def a int/long division and/or some other logic bug going on here for sure. I think it is mostly reporting. But also the desired output setting did not change output speed, just messed up reporting.
