This schedule has night time dosing, so i am not sure what you are getting at? the point of dosing at multiple intervals throughout the day is to keep the tank as stable as possible. when you start biasing towards one time period or another, stability suffers.

Corals uptake cal and alk during the day light time so you want to make sure they get an even amount of cal and alk during the time the lights are on.
You need to separate the addition of cal and alk by at least a 1/2 hour so that they do not fall out of solution. You want to test your alk at least every other day. I do it daily myself . It becomes a habit to check it and follow the up take of cal and alk as your corals grow. This is most important on a tank with a lot of SPS.
