Hello,

I bought a dosing pump online from Kamoer that’s not aquarium specific or sold by the big guys. I opened up and saw the motor/rotors are lubricated with what I assume to be silicone grease. Some of the grease is very close to the internal tubing .

Is there a danger of this making its way into the aquarium? If the tubing breaks in the pump I’m assuming that the suction is broken and nothing should be able to enter the dosing line?

Any ideas?

It's a non-issue
