I actually got new air line tubing. I heard the clear kind you buy has small holes in it and allows air in which doesn't allow the liquid to stay inside the tubing
The answer to this question is no. There are no "holes" in air line tubing. What you would see is fluid leaking backwards in a cheap pump that does not fully compress the the pump hose.

Colored airline tubing is good for one to keep track of what line is used for what. I need to go back thru my doing system and color code them as I will be bringing another dosing pump online soon. Right now I have six lines going into to my tank. Will be adding 4 more soon.

You where getting leakage at the connection to the pump. I am a industrial maintenance man in a large food plant with hundreds of dosing pumps to take care of improper line seal with cause suction issues. I use 12 dosing pumps in my systems for all kind of daily task's I am always watching for connection issues and suction issues in the containers that a store the fluids in. Plastic air tubing just doesn't have holes unless they are put there by accident or the line is pinched.

Didn't come with an extra head when you bought it?
