I doubt if there's a straight forward answer to this...

A maximum vertical distance (uplift) would be lower for the same pump compared to the horizontal distance (pump and container almost same height).

There are some dosing pumps (Avastmarine sells one) that can move fluid from basement to the first floor.

Refer to the pump specs.

Peristaltic pumps are good at pulling water. I have a liter meter that pulls waters from my basement storage container up to my sump.

It's going to depend on the pump

Every manufacturer has a different number I would say. I think my coral box was 8ft lol more then I thought. I would ask the manufacturer or good that question with the manufacturer name in it .
